[00:00:17] We are Watchmen, sounding the alarm. Welcome to The VOR Radio Show. I'm Ravio Shial. I'm a volunteer here coming at you with a brand new show on the VOR broadcast network. Today is the Fourth of July. Today is Independence Day.

[00:00:38] Let's talk a little bit about freedom today. We're going to be talking about living a life of revival. A revival life. You know that many people live in a nation that's free, but they're not free themselves.

[00:00:51] What do you mean? In order to be really free, it begins with a change. It begins with a change. It begins with a change of thinking, change in our hearts and our minds. We can be renewed and born again but we can live a prisoner of the mind.

[00:01:10] That's why it says the battle begins in the mind. Our nation is crumbling because nobody takes responsibility. We have irresponsible leaders. We have irresponsible people who play the blame game. We don't want to admit that we are wrong. We don't want to admit that we have problems.

[00:01:29] So we pretend like everything is okay and we live this way and we see a nation falling. We see a nation crumbling and we don't see the signs.

[00:01:42] It is because God is trying to get our attention. He has speaking to the proud. He has speaking to those who have created this, this arrogance about themselves and God is calling us to return to him. I heard this from another prophetic minister who said,

[00:01:58] This is the greatest time of revival and revival is not about just living this blessed life. The revival is turning away from our wickedness, turning away and coming into a place of repentance.

[00:02:15] I'm going to be doing this program in Spanish too because we need the word out there. There are too many who preach messages that have no substance, that have no revelation,

[00:02:29] that have no transformation and people keep coming to church, keep living the same way because they refuse to be set free. We're not just going to get delivered. We need to be set free. Deliverance is the first key but freedom is when you are completely free.

[00:02:48] The Bible says, the sun is made you free and you are in free indeed. Is it possible to live in real freedom? Revive was about freedom. Is it possible to live a life completely revived in Christ?

[00:03:02] That no matter what comes your way, you are in perfect peace because your mind is fixed on Christ. He's your everything. He's your desire. You can't live without his presence. You're so desperate and hungry for more of him

[00:03:20] that it empties you of pride. It empties you of rebellion and causes you to want more to come into a place of submission. Humility, your mind is the key to live. Listen to what I'm saying, your mind is the key to live.

[00:03:38] The Bible says, as a man thinks, so is he. You see, your thoughts are lethal and if you don't control them, they will dominate your life. Your mind has to be under control. The reason a nation continues to keep sinning,

[00:03:57] people keep doing things. There's no remorse. There's no guilt. There's no shame. There's no conviction is because the fear of God is missing. And when the fear of God is missing in a country, people will do whatever they want to do.

[00:04:14] And they call it freedom. They have the wrong concept of freedom. Freedom is not freedom from restraining order or law. Freedom is responsibility. Freedom is management. Freedom is taking responsibility for our actions and doing what is right. The Bible calls it righteousness. It calls it executing justice.

[00:04:41] And another thing that we're going to be bringing pretty soon, God is calling us back to holiness and back to repentance and back to doing what is right. But we can't think that way because we live in a prison of our mind.

[00:04:56] Our mind is in prison. We are victims of our past and our past won't let us free. It is truth that makes us free. Jesus said that you will know the truth and the truth will make you free.

[00:05:16] John chapter 8, 31 through 32 says in Jesus said to the Jews who believed, if you abide in me and my words, you will truly be my disciples and you will know the truth and the truth will make you free. You will know the truth. Truth is knowledge. Truth is freedom.

[00:05:40] When truth comes in, it destroys every lie. It destroys the hindrances. You stop thinking about being a victim of the past. Your pass is what's keeping you bound. You can't live in the future because you're working so hard to try to get away from your pass.

[00:06:02] And your pass is what's keeping you bound. If a person is what they think, then they're not free. If they think slavery, if they think oppression, if they think guilt and shame, if they think like a slave, they're going to act like a slave.

[00:06:21] God doesn't want us to be slaves. He's called us to be free. We are no longer slaves to fear. We are children of God. Some are living as prisoners in their mind. We need deliverance from what is causing our minds to be in prison.

[00:06:39] You could be young and think wrong. You could be old. We got this mentality that we conform to where we're at. And we get comfortable where we're at. And we imprison ourselves to where we're at.

[00:06:53] And Christ wants more from us. But because we choose to live in that state, we cannot be free. We live as slaves. And God is saying, there is freedom if you choose to walk out of that prison. What is causing our minds to be in prison?

[00:07:14] Mental oppression. Some have tried to medicate it. Driving out and calm it down. Yet it doesn't go away. That's why our nation has filled the people who don't know the concept of living free. We're going to celebrate the Fourth of July.

[00:07:29] But what is people thought of a Fourth of July getting drunk, driving drunk, that lawlessness, doing what they want in their own eyes. They call that freedom. No, it's not. It's called a responsibility. It's called not taking responsibility for your actions.

[00:07:45] And then we suffer the consequences because that is not freedom. Freedom is living the life of a revival. Freedom is living the life with the mind of Christ, taking every thought into captivity that keeps you from moving into your destiny.

[00:08:04] Come on. This is a message for somebody out there right now. We have a nation, fill up people who do not know the concept of living free. They can't be free from their thoughts. They're living in an immense prison of torment.

[00:08:18] Jesus said, I came to set the cap this free. I think it's Luke chapter four. Luke chapter four. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me. He has anointed me to preach what? The preach the good news? The Spirit of the Lord is upon me.

[00:08:36] Because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has said me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind. To set a liberty, those who are oppressed to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.

[00:08:59] It's all about deliverance. It's all about freedom. It's when the gospel is preached as the power to bring us into deliverance and freedom. Too many are wasting time as prisoners in their own cell. We blame it on family, our paths, our lack,

[00:09:17] but the reality is not the problem. The problem is this. We're living in oppression. And that's why when someone comes around that lives in freedom, we say they can, but I can't.

[00:09:35] And that's a lie. You have begun to believe your own lies and that is called deceived. You believe the lies. Don't you know that Satan is the father of lies? He's been lying since the beginning

[00:09:50] and he's going to continue to keep lying to you. You need to tear down those lies, those arguments, those thoughts that exalt themselves against the knowledge of Christ. That's a second Corinthians chapter 10. Second Corinthians chapter 10, look what it says in verse 3,

[00:10:15] For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strong, strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God,

[00:10:33] bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. Look at this, cast in down arguments, cast in down these thoughts that highly exalt themselves against the knowledge of God.

[00:10:53] Bring in every thought into captivity. You know your thoughts are what's keeping you awake all night. It's your thoughts, it's the way you think. It's the battle of the mind. Your mind is at constant war, because you can't get free from your past.

[00:11:14] But I'm here to tell you today, someone who is listening to this program, somebody who is tuned in right now, you are a victim of your past and it's keeping you a prisoner of your mind. But today the word of God is going to set you free.

[00:11:30] Somebody out there for decades and for years, you have believed the lie. This is all that I have. This is all that I am. And this is how I'm going to be. You have conformed to what we call stinkin' thinking, thinking that you are comfortable where you're at.

[00:11:49] And God is saying don't get comfortable. I don't care how old you are. I don't care how young you are. You can be set free from this mentality. You cannot change it, be transformed if it doesn't begin with the mind. I'm not talking about positive thinking here.

[00:12:06] I'm not talking about new age. I am talking about being renewed by the word of God. I'm preaching differently because I feel that the anointing of God has been taken over these broadcasts.

[00:12:22] And he says what I want you to say, I want you to bring words that are going to set the captives free. People can be delivered. I even sense this. There's been a great revival of deliverance, but yet people still are not free.

[00:12:39] Why? Because they still refuse to get out of the prison that they're in. Because they need to change their mind and that is the word metanoia, meaning repentance, to change the way you think.

[00:12:54] The way you think about certain things needs to change. We're living in oppression and that's why you need to know that the gospel is a good news. The good news is that Jesus converts our deliverance into freedom.

[00:13:09] Come on, say that again, the good news is that Jesus converts our deliverance into freedom. Listen to what I'm saying. You may be delivered but you're not free. Hello, somebody. That is what happens when we become born again.

[00:13:25] God sets us free. He opens the door that is kept us lock. But our mind has to change with what is called repentance. The apostopal said it this way. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.

[00:13:49] Galatians, chapter 5 verse 1, stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made you free and do not be entangled again. Again, with a yoke of bondage that where bondage means a yoke of slavery. You're going to have to think different. You have lived inside of a box.

[00:14:11] Too many live inside of a box. That is their mentality within their four walls, within their, these four walls that contain them. It is limited by your own doing. You need to think outside of the box. How do you do that by renewing your mind?

[00:14:32] You need mental transformation. If not, you can live in a new place with new things, with a brand new car and still continue to do what you're used to in the past.

[00:14:47] You cannot escape the familiar. The children of visual needed a deliver to set them free from the slavery. But the reason they didn't enter the promise land was because they wanted to remain in their slavery, their mentality.

[00:15:02] They said we had it better in Egypt. They murmured and complained that they were missing out because they couldn't get free from their slavery mentality.

[00:15:12] And they wandered into wilderness for 40 years until that whole generation died off. Why? Because they couldn't believe that they were going to the promise land. And they believed the lie. Too many smell like their past. They smell like Egypt, slavery, oppression, leaks and onions. You have stinking thinking.

[00:15:35] They can't be great for happy because they're bound by their past. You need deliverance and you need freedom. We're not just going to see a revival of deliverance, but a revival of freedom.

[00:15:47] You need to come to a place that you can make it happen by yourself. You're going to have to admit, submit and repent. Realize that wrong actions have consequences. The Holy Spirit is speaking to someone right now. You haven't had a conscience and you refuse to repent.

[00:16:09] But today, the Holy Spirit is drawing you to make a change. Today is your day of freedom. On this Fourth of July, not only will you be free to celebrate this time. But you're going to be free in your mind. Stop playing the blame game.

[00:16:30] Our nation is in a mess because we refuse to take responsibility for our actions. And we blame it on politicians. We blame it on whoever's going to be president.

[00:16:43] We blame it on the other party. But here's what we have to get to. This means we need to take responsibility for our actions.

[00:16:52] And that means with our leaders, that lead our country, that lead our churches, that lead our nation. They need to take responsibility for dropping the ball and blaming it on somebody else.

[00:17:05] Lord, don't just deliver me. Set me free. Too many of God's people can't leave Egypt behind their prisoners of their own making. Some of you can't picture yourself having a business or having a better life or stop even paycheck to paycheck.

[00:17:23] You can't break the cycle of lack because you are what you think. You have to stop using the words I can't and use the word I can. I can't is not in your vocabulary. I can't is. I can.

[00:17:43] I can is for those who don't want to be free. You have accepted your fate and that is not who God made you to be. You keep hearing the good news. You keep hearing the gospel.

[00:17:54] The good report, but you don't believe it. It's your unbelief. It is your doubt. You have accepted your fate. If you want to change, it's going to take a mind change.

[00:18:07] And that is called repentance. Renew in of your thoughts of what you were before. If you can get this, this will change your life completely.

[00:18:17] Your past is keeping you a victim and a prisoner of your mind. You're laziness to stay where you are and you're unwilling to learn. It has had you stuck.

[00:18:29] You're used to living in that state, but if you want to be free, God has the answer that you need. It's called obedience. Submission. Doing what is right. Taking responsibility for your actions. I can't preach your teach. You've something that I'm not doing.

[00:18:48] I will be a hypocrite if I did that. You can't freeze someone if you're not living in freedom. This is revival. This is living in peace and hope and trusting God that holds your tomorrow.

[00:19:02] Some of us are so busy trying to get over your past that we don't have time to live in the future. Follow somebody. You're busy trying to get over your past that you can't fathom yourself living in freedom in the future.

[00:19:17] Time to let go of the past. It's keeping you locked away as prisoners. The future is bright, but you can't live in the darkness of your past anymore.

[00:19:28] The devil is lying to you. The prison door is open, but you have to choose to walk out of it. What a message for our time. In a time when we are celebrating freedom, but yet many are not freedom sells. This is a timely message.

[00:19:46] There are giants that are stopping you from entering your promise land. God has for you. The giant is called despair. Giant of depression. Giant of the oppression. Isaiah 43 says verse 17 says,

[00:21:02] I'm not in changes in life until your mind changes. I'm not talking about positive thinking only. I'm speaking about renewing your mind with God's word, taking your thoughts captives. Change your mind, renew your mind, do not conform to the pattern of the world like Egypt.

[00:21:22] Like those who think slavery mentality. I'm speaking about renewing your mind. The world thinks slaves were slaves to the government, to political parties, to philosophies and ideologies and so many others. Nothing changes until the so changes.

[00:21:41] The Bible says in Psalm 19 verse 7, the word, the law is perfect and converts the so. It is the word of God. He bruised chapter 4 verse 12 says, the word of God is living in sharp like a two-edged sword.

[00:21:56] It cuts and it penetrates to the divide and so in spirit, joints and maro. The word of God will cut in and remove what is not of him so that we can be free from our past.

[00:22:09] Yes, you were delivered at salvation, but your mind is still living in oppression. I don't know who I'm speaking to, but somebody's been stuck in the wilderness.

[00:22:20] While God is saying, you're going to have to leave the wilderness and come to the Promised Land, but you can't go in if your mind is not free. God doesn't just want you saved, he wants you free.

[00:22:35] Colossians 115 says, he has translated us. He has transformed us. He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness that word darkness means not only a physical darkness, but the word darkness means ignorance. Is from lack of understanding, from grabs been on to the truth. What defeat's ignorance?

[00:23:02] Understanding. Truth. That means unlearning what you learned. The Bible says that we're born again, that when we born again, the old things are passed away. The old has passed away. Second Corinthians chapter 5 verse 15, that if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.

[00:23:28] All things are passed away. Behold, all things have become new. I'm almost done here. We're almost at the end of this message, but I believe that's a timely message because so many are living as victims of the past.

[00:23:46] You're living in the prison of your own doing of your own mind and God wants to set you free. He wants to set you free. This is with a voice of revival, speaking to those who are captive. The Lord is sending me to set the captives free today.

[00:24:06] Some of us have been born again in our spirit, but your mind is not renewed. Your old way of thinking has been stopping you from living in true freedom.

[00:24:16] This is a soul change. Your soul is where your mind will and emotions exist. That is why I set the battle is in the mind.

[00:24:27] Truth is knowledge, knowledge is understanding. It's about responsibility. Once you know, once you know the truth, once you understand what to do now, you're going to take responsibility.

[00:24:41] Stewardship and manage your time. It's work. Many rather live a slave mentality because it doesn't take work, but it takes work to stay free. My God, we need to hear that.

[00:24:56] It takes work to stay free. A nation will not stay free if it doesn't work at it. If it doesn't fight, if it doesn't stand for righteousness, if it doesn't stand for truth, the Bible says,

[00:25:10] If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do? Soms 11. If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do? Soms 11 verse 3, there's nothing we can do when it all falls apart. Many want to reap the blessings of God without any obligations.

[00:25:32] To reap without so-and to gain without working for it. My friends, people so much want the move of God, they won't revive or they want the move of the Holy Spirit, but they refuse to do anything to cultivate it, to create an atmosphere for it, to work at it.

[00:25:53] This is why the Prophet comes and says, prepare the way of the Lord. Make his path straight. Everything that is crooked must be made straight. The wind in roads must be made smooth.

[00:26:08] Every mountain must be leveled and every valley exalt to them means everything that's low, everything that's prideful, everything that's arrogant must be brought low and only the humble.

[00:26:23] The Bible says, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee. How do you do it? You've got to submit to the Lord.

[00:26:40] Resist the devil. Don't give in, resist them. Fight against them. How do you do that? With the word, with a relationship with Christ. You're fighting on your own when you have someone on your side that is already one every victory. He has never lost a battle.

[00:27:01] There are those who are listening right now that look free, but you're not. You have a constant battle in your mind that will not stop. I'm here today to tell you that there is freedom from oppression in your mind.

[00:27:16] Your mind is where the battle ground be happens and the only way to have liberty is to allow your thoughts to be taken captive by Christ.

[00:27:28] I'm going to close with this. The Bible says the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God. Through the pulling down of strongholds, casting down every imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

[00:27:52] James chapter 4 verses 7 through 10, look what it says. It says, submit yourself to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you.

[00:28:05] Clench your hands, sinners and purify your hearts. You double-minded. Be afflicted in mourning weep, let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to heaviness.

[00:28:17] Humble yourselves in the mighty side of the Lord and he will exalt you. I believe that we're being humbled in America, we're being humbled and God is going to only exalt those who have submitted, who have resisted the enemy, who have been doing what is right,

[00:28:41] who have been doing what he called them, and that is not about calling it's about election. I'm not talking about the presidential election.

[00:28:50] I'm talking about those who have been chosen for this. I know that I have been chosen for this. Some of us can walk away from it if we want, but some of us got not only called you and said,

[00:29:02] I elected you. I chose you. I put my mark upon you and said, your mind and you will do my will for you will find no happiness outside of the will of the Lord.

[00:29:16] How does this happen with complete surrender? You have the mind of Christ. You no longer are fighting this battle by yourself. You have someone who has never lost a battle on your side, but we choose to fight this alone. Why?

[00:29:32] Because we have not renewed our mind. We want to analyze everything what we don't understand. Hello, I speak about freedom where your mind is at peace and where your thoughts are not fighting you all night long.

[00:29:46] You don't wake up tired. You don't get angry when things go wrong. I want to speak to you a few minutes about real freedom. God made the man to be had because he is the only one who has the strength to hold up the foundation.

[00:30:00] I said this in a message. I preached to our men and our fathers, they called sores of legacy that fathers means foundation if the foundation is cracked or faulty, the entire family will collapse.

[00:30:14] Listen to me, God is saying our nation is suffering because men will not take their place. They're responsibility. They're living in a jail cell of their own making and God is saying it's time to walk free.

[00:30:29] Reminds me of that song. I'm walking free. No more chains are holding me. He called my name and now I'm walking free. Some of you need to walk out of that jail cell that you're in.

[00:30:45] You may not be in a physical jail cell but you're in a mental jail cell. And I speak to you right now come out. Come out. It's time to walk free.

[00:30:57] Today our nation celebrates independence day the 4th of July we live in the free nation, but many are not free. There is something that keeps us a prisoner and that is our mind.

[00:31:07] Our mind is that it can't stay battle or war that keeps you up all night. Today is your day to get free real freedom comes from surrendering all to Jesus. Not just a little bit, not just a partial part of your life total surrender.

[00:31:26] We're going to close right now with this. Let's pray for those who have been listening today. This message couldn't be at any greater time when our nation is in need of freedom fighters.

[00:31:40] I'm not talking about people picking up weapons. People angry at each political party. We got to realize it does matter. It really does matter that we have someone who is doing the right thing leading our country.

[00:31:56] But that's not going to turn a nation around. A nation is going to turn around when they turn to the true and one and only God. There's a worldwide revival coming, a new new song that's by the news boys that is going to become the anthem of our day in our hour.

[00:32:15] As we see judgment coming, we also see a worldwide revival. The resistance against the move of God, there's been such a resistance but they're those who are raising up with power in their mouths with fire in their words and they're going to consume the works of darkness as they stand up because they're free.

[00:32:42] We're not be slaves any longer but the sun has set them free and they're going to set others free. Let's pray. Father God, I thank you.

[00:32:52] With the opportunity to share your word on this broadcast. I thank you Father for those who are listening God. They thought they're going to tune in to a message talking about the independence day or freedom talking about the forefathers Lord.

[00:33:07] We could talk all we want about that but there's so many people who are bound in their minds and their spirits, they're bound God. They walk around in freedom but they don't live in freedom. Their homes are not in freedom. Their minds are our prisons God. They can't sleep at night, but I declare right now that they're walking out of that prison cell.

[00:33:32] And I just speak to the enemy of darkness, the enemy of confusion, the enemy of ignorance and I command you to lose their minds and let them go in the name that is above all names.

[00:33:45] You have given us all power and authority, Father, to speak those things that are not as though they are. And I declare by the power of the Holy Spirit that is working in me, I declare that those minds be set free.

[00:34:01] I command that demonic spirit of oppression leave now. Oppression leave now. The spirit leave now suicidal spirit leave now in Jesus name. Oh my goodness, Father, there is power in your name and the name of Jesus you are free.

[00:34:28] Being his name. Oh, Father right now. I speak to everyone that's been held captive. You've been held captive by what someone said about you. You've been held captive and you have not gone on to do what God has called you to do.

[00:34:44] You've been afraid to step out and do something new, but I hear the Lord said step out now. Get free. You're getting free. Some of you need to open your mouth and praise the Lord. When you praise the Lord, the chains are going to be broken.

[00:35:00] And your prison cell is going to open. Oh, thank you. There's the shaking coming to that prison right now. You're walking free in Jesus name. If you're bound by addictions, if you're bound by pornography, if you're bound by anything right now, you're being set free and delivered.

[00:35:21] Revival is coming. Your mind is being transformed as the word of God is going forth. You are being transformed and set free in Jesus name. I declare it and say it is done. Amen.
