[00:00:41] Back to Acts.

[00:00:43] We have been talking about the importance of the Holy Spirit.

[00:00:46] How in the book of Acts it went from 120 disciples to 3000 from 3000 to 1000.

[00:00:55] It begins to grow and then when persecution comes, it spread the revival all across the world.

[00:01:03] Jesus said that the power will come upon you, the power of the Holy Spirit and you will be my witness in Jerusalem in Judea, in Samaria, until the uttermost parts of the world.

[00:01:15] Did it see what happens when the Holy Spirit leads and moves us?

[00:01:21] It moves us into action.

[00:01:23] It takes us on an adventure.

[00:01:25] You think about it, many think that the Christian life is born.

[00:01:29] But when you're led by the Spirit, it is not a boring life.

[00:01:33] He's going to lead you on a great adventure and get ready for the ride, get ready for the journey, because this is what it's all about.

[00:01:44] Now how does all this content come that we broadcast here at the Vio-War?

[00:01:50] All the programs you hear come from spending time and prayer, listening to the lead of the Holy Spirit and what to say and share.

[00:01:58] In its base upon the Word of God, prophetic teaching and instruction on what the Lord is showing His people and how to prepare ourselves for the days ahead.

[00:02:09] This ministry is called to train and equip the kingdom people for the last days.

[00:02:16] Do you believe that we're in the last days?

[00:02:19] Do you truly believe that we're coming into the end days?

[00:02:23] You know since Jesus walked the earth, we have been in the end times.

[00:02:28] But we're coming into what is called the last of the last days, where we're coming to the end and the consummation,

[00:02:37] where everything is coming into a climax.

[00:02:41] I don't know how long it's going to be, but I can tell you, we're seeing things shift so quickly and we need to keep ourselves in tune with the voice of God

[00:02:53] To hear what the Holy Spirit is saying and instructing us.

[00:02:58] The Holy Spirit instructed me to teach those who listen that He's bringing us to a revelation of the last days.

[00:03:06] It's beyond what we have been taught or shown.

[00:03:10] It is what has always been there, but we have been blind to see it.

[00:03:15] Our filters on how we prophesy has stunted our growth and the prophetic.

[00:03:21] Instead, we worship the prophetic gifts more than being led by the office of the prophetic.

[00:03:28] I said this at a recent devotion that I was given the chance to preach at.

[00:03:34] And the message I brought was living with hope, bringing hope to the hopeless.

[00:03:41] And one of the things I mentioned was this, we have escalated the prophets.

[00:03:48] And the prophets are nothing but messengers of God who walk in a prophetic anointing to lead us and show us in prepares for what's coming so that we can pray,

[00:04:01] so that we can intercede, so that we can have the intel.

[00:04:05] But what we've done, we raised the prophetic, we raised these prophets to a level of worship.

[00:04:10] We raised the be apostles and the level of worship.

[00:04:14] And the Lord is bringing down this pride and arrogance.

[00:04:19] We have done a disservice to our servants by doing this.

[00:04:23] We have elevated the prophetic, listen what I'm saying.

[00:04:26] We have elevated the prophetic above the Scriptures.

[00:04:30] Saying that there's no longer no need for God's word that they have the revelation that has not been known before.

[00:04:37] And I will be leary and cautious when you hear someone say these things.

[00:04:42] There is a tremendous difference in what we're seeing today is not the prophetic that Jesus called us to.

[00:04:48] The Spirit of prophecy in Revelation chapter 19 verse 10,

[00:04:52] He says the Spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus.

[00:04:57] Where's God for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy?

[00:05:04] Let me say this, does the prophecy lead you to Christ or is it leading you to that person?

[00:05:10] Here's or her charm that charisma is the message bringing honor to Christ or is in honor in man.

[00:05:19] If you are wild by their knowledge and it's not scripture base, then sooner or later you're going to be led down a road of deception.

[00:05:30] Oh yeah, we're talking about the book of Acts because in the last of the last days,

[00:05:35] the last days begins what with the resurrection of Jesus Christ until the fulfillment of all things.

[00:05:43] Some say that all the prophecies have been fulfilled and complete but it's not until the Lord comes

[00:05:49] and there is a final assault of Lucifer that he's going to deceive mankind then the incomes.

[00:05:58] When I prepare to teach on the end-time preppers,

[00:06:02] I believe it's going to be one of the most sought after teachings because we don't have an understanding of the last days

[00:06:10] is because we've been teaching the last days with our wrong perspective.

[00:06:15] We've been looking at it with our Western mindset culture, our Western understanding

[00:06:22] and the Bible was written in Hebrew.

[00:06:26] He was written in different language and Hebrew in Greek and Arabic.

[00:06:31] It was written in these languages and to understand it, you have to understand the original language

[00:06:37] and this is going to set us apart because what we've done is teach this escapism type prophecy.

[00:06:48] We also teach a prophecy that says that everything has been fulfilled,

[00:06:52] we're just waiting for God to rescue us and take us out.

[00:06:56] No, it's not.

[00:06:58] And what we've done, we have dismissed what the old prophets were saying

[00:07:03] because a lot of the prophets of old, they were prophesying things that were going to happen in our time, in our day.

[00:07:12] What has happened is there is a return to the apostolic church.

[00:07:18] I'm going to talk about apostolic power today.

[00:07:22] This is the way the first century church operated.

[00:07:25] They knew what it meant and how important it was to see the work of Christ and let it spread upon the earth.

[00:07:33] The kingdom message proclaimed, the gospel of the kingdom and signs and wonders following.

[00:07:41] It's time to return to the foundations that were laid at the church.

[00:07:46] We drifted away from what caused the church to be strong, healthy and in multiply so rapidly.

[00:07:54] And it wasn't because of church programs or departments or missions or some new thing.

[00:08:02] It was the apostolic and the prophetic that gave it a strong firm foundation to build upon.

[00:08:10] What is the scripture saying?

[00:08:12] It says in Ephesians chapter 2 verse 19,

[00:08:17] Ephesians chapter 2 19 says this,

[00:08:20] haven't been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets.

[00:08:27] Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone in whom the whole building be in fit.

[00:08:36] The Holy Spirit says the whole building be in fit together grows into a holy temple.

[00:08:42] And whom you are also being built together for a dwell in place of God in the spirit.

[00:08:50] We're going to find out so much is about the apostles and the prophetic.

[00:08:56] Are you saying that their special note I'm saying is that they are a part of the foundation that helps us build.

[00:09:05] They are the builders think about the prophets.

[00:09:09] The prophets are kind of like the bulldozers they come and they do they they are plumb line.

[00:09:15] They come and dismantle things that are not approved by the Lord.

[00:09:20] They are not correct they're kind of like the the inspectors that come in inspect the building.

[00:09:26] If there's something not right it doesn't pass the code it doesn't get a permit.

[00:09:33] The apostles are the ones who build the apostles are the ones who who send out they equip.

[00:09:40] This is what I'm going to teach on they are training and equipping the saints to be sent to be apostolos to be ambassadors of the kingdom wherever they go.

[00:09:53] I'm telling you this not everyone is called to the fivefold ministry gifts too many are in the wrong lane.

[00:10:00] I gave this message about how so many ministers want to be known as prophet or apostle or pastor who have not been sent or called to it.

[00:10:10] That is why so many in the ministry especially pastors don't last long they quit because something gets a good career and they can make a living.

[00:10:20] But this is far from the truth I go listen to that message stay in your lane.

[00:10:26] It's a prophetic message stay in your lane you'll find it on the v-o-r dot net website.

[00:10:34] I remember doing a teaching on the fivefold ministry gifts and that's why they are needed.

[00:10:40] I also did this message back in 2018 called the body builders of Christ the body builders of the kingdom.

[00:10:48] No we're not talking about lifting weights but about equipping and building up the household of God.

[00:10:57] So many want to be fivefold ministers and stay away from help government and prayer.

[00:11:05] The reality is there are more in this area than there should be in the foundation ministries.

[00:11:13] So there are two parts of the church that need to restore it's the apostolic and the prophetic.

[00:11:20] And what I sense that the Lord will show them the other day, they're so many in the prophetic and the apostolic that are still leading things.

[00:11:30] And these people have been in the prophetic and apostolic ministry for a long time.

[00:11:37] And they don't acknowledge other upcoming prophets and upcoming apostolic people because they refuse to hand out the baton.

[00:11:48] This is what I said in the in stain your lane, they refuse to hand off the baton and they're holding onto the baton refusing to let it go.

[00:11:58] I want to talk about what is an apostolic church.

[00:12:03] Is it an denomination?

[00:12:05] Is it just an anointing?

[00:12:07] What exactly is the apostolic?

[00:12:11] Here's what the apostolic is.

[00:12:14] It is not a denomination.

[00:12:16] You heard the ones who say we're an apostolic church, we are the church of the apostolic.

[00:12:22] Okay.

[00:12:23] The apostolic is the full measure, full measure of the ministry of Christ upon the earth.

[00:12:30] We need this impartation.

[00:12:32] The apostolic is what the first century Christians stood.

[00:12:37] They stood in faith, practice and government.

[00:12:41] It was not just a denomination but a lifestyle.

[00:12:46] Before they were called Christians in the book of Acts, they were called the way.

[00:12:52] They followed the way, who was the way Jesus was the way, the truth and the life.

[00:12:59] And their lies were all about declaring the way.

[00:13:03] They pointed people to the way.

[00:13:06] Acts chapter 2 verse 24 says this.

[00:13:10] Acts chapter 2 verse 24.

[00:13:13] Now all who believed were together and had all things common.

[00:13:20] And sold their possessions and goods and divided them among as anyone had need.

[00:13:27] Let's go to verse 42.

[00:13:30] And they continued steadfastly in the Apostles doctrine and fellowship.

[00:13:36] And in the break in the bread and in prayers.

[00:13:41] This is how the church grew.

[00:13:52] What is the doctrine in fellowship?

[00:13:55] Doctrine is teaching instruction.

[00:13:57] What was the instruction that they were giving?

[00:14:00] The same instructions that they received from their rabbi.

[00:14:05] Jesus, He said, preach the gospel of the kingdom.

[00:14:09] Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.

[00:14:13] Raise up disciples.

[00:14:16] They did this from house to house.

[00:14:18] They met in the temple.

[00:14:20] They did it weekly house to house and they continued to grow.

[00:14:25] But what was it that surrounded them?

[00:14:27] Prayer.

[00:14:29] Prayer.

[00:14:30] It was surrounded by prayer.

[00:14:33] They remained in the Apostles doctrine.

[00:14:35] It wasn't their own doctrine.

[00:14:37] But what Jesus taught, the kingdom of God, the gospel of the kingdom.

[00:14:44] In fact before Jesus ascends to heaven, He spends 40 days explaining the kingdom of God

[00:14:50] and the entire book of Acts is a continuation of advance in of God's kingdom

[00:14:57] and the book ends in the same.

[00:15:00] It fulfills its purpose.

[00:15:04] I'm saying this with all humility that we're coming back to where it started.

[00:15:09] And that is where Christ will return when the church is back in action.

[00:15:14] What the Holy Spirit is moving and the kingdom of God is dismantling empires

[00:15:20] in cultures that have conformed to the King's way.

[00:15:25] We are in those days right now.

[00:15:30] When Jesus walked the earth, He was grace with this ministry gift.

[00:15:36] And before He ascended, He gave these gifts to the church.

[00:15:42] The church is not just a place that you go to.

[00:15:46] It's not a building.

[00:15:48] It's not a sanctuary.

[00:15:50] It's a eclecilla.

[00:15:52] It's a collective and legislative citizens of the kingdom.

[00:15:57] They're legislating laws and governing.

[00:16:01] They're governing.

[00:16:02] They're assembled to bring legislation the order.

[00:16:06] How about the prophetic?

[00:16:08] Let's read from Ephesians chapter 4.

[00:16:11] Ephesians chapter 4.

[00:16:13] Alright, Ephesians chapter 4.

[00:16:15] I'm going to read it from the amplified Bible.

[00:16:18] Ephesians chapter 4 verse 9.

[00:16:22] No let's look at verse 7.

[00:16:25] Ephesians chapter 4 verse 7.

[00:16:27] It says this.

[00:16:28] Verse 7 says, Yet grace, God's underserved favor was given to each of us.

[00:16:36] Not indiscriminately, not indiscriminately, but in different ways.

[00:16:42] In proportion to the measure of Christ, rich and abundant gift.

[00:16:47] Therefore it says,

[00:16:49] When he ascended on high, he let captivity captive and he bestowed gifts on men.

[00:16:57] Now this expression, he ascended.

[00:16:59] What does it mean except that he also had previously descended from the heights of heaven into

[00:17:07] the lower parts of the earth?

[00:17:10] He who ascended is the very same as he who ascended high above all the heavens that he

[00:17:18] is present might feel all things that is the whole universe.

[00:17:23] Verse 11, And his gifts to the church were varied and he himself appointed some as apostles,

[00:17:32] special messengers, representatives, some as prophets who speak a new message from God to the people,

[00:17:40] some as evangelists who spread the good news of salvation,

[00:17:45] some as pastors and teachers who's to shepherd, guide and instruct.

[00:17:52] And he did this to fully equip and perfect the saints.

[00:17:57] God's people for the works of service to build up the body of Christ, the church until we all reach

[00:18:05] oneness in the faith in the knowledge of the Son of God,

[00:18:09] meaning we're growing spiritually to become a mature believer.

[00:18:13] Reaching to the fullness, to the measure of the fullness of Christ,

[00:18:17] manifests in His spiritual completeness and exercising our spiritual gifts in unity.

[00:18:26] Why is this important?

[00:18:29] Verse 14, So that we are no longer children, spiritually immature,

[00:18:34] tossed back and forth like ships on a stormy sea,

[00:18:39] carried about by every win, meaning shifting,

[00:18:42] doctrine by the cunning and trickery of unscrupulous men,

[00:18:48] by the deceitful scheming of people ready to do anything for personal prophet.

[00:18:56] These five ministries are gifts that Christ gave to the church.

[00:19:03] The ministry are gifted men and women of God that He is placed who to what,

[00:19:10] to instruct, to bring us into maturity, to guide us, to lead us,

[00:19:17] to speak, to be representatives of the kingdom,

[00:19:22] to spread the good news to shepherd and guide.

[00:19:26] There's a lot there, right?

[00:19:28] Let's talk about the prophetic.

[00:19:30] There's many who say they're prophetic because the gift of prophecy,

[00:19:34] they say they have the words of knowledge, they give prophetic encouragement.

[00:19:39] But the truth is a lot of prophecy is not the spirit of prophecy,

[00:19:44] but just a gift of prophecy.

[00:19:47] The prophetic goes much deeper than just telling someone where they live,

[00:19:52] or what they see in their past, or the number on their license plate.

[00:19:57] That's not prophetic.

[00:19:59] This is what churches are wooed by when the true prophetic comes,

[00:20:04] it tells of thanks to come and what to do in preparation for it.

[00:20:09] The prophetic is a foretelling to know something that is going to happen before it happens.

[00:20:15] Not because you see the news or heard it from someone,

[00:20:19] but because the Holy Spirit revealed it to you.

[00:20:23] What we're witnessing in a large portion of Christian dumb is not prophetic.

[00:20:28] When the true prophetic comes, it's not to garner a following of people to itself,

[00:20:34] but to point them to the one who is the spirit of prophecy and that is Christ.

[00:20:42] I pray that this is helping you.

[00:20:45] I pray that this word is a great instruction.

[00:20:49] You're going to get instruction on the VOR.

[00:20:52] You're going to get prophetic word.

[00:20:54] You're going to get apostolic teaching.

[00:20:57] You're going to receive sermons that come from the throne of God because he speaks,

[00:21:02] and he wants us to share his word.

[00:21:05] We don't just put this things together like,

[00:21:09] take it lightly.

[00:21:10] No, the Holy Spirit leads every single one of these broadcasts.

[00:21:16] So, the prophetic is so important.

[00:21:22] I wrote something about the prophetic.

[00:21:25] The prophetic is the ability to access the mind of the Spirit,

[00:21:31] and to speak for that which is revealed by the Holy Spirit.

[00:21:36] Many call me a pastor, but really,

[00:21:39] the ability is I operate more in a prophetic preaching, prophetic anointing.

[00:21:46] That is why the voice of revival is a very prophetic ministry.

[00:21:52] We're helping you to understand the apostolic and the prophetic.

[00:21:57] I grew up in the apostolic.

[00:21:59] I grew up in the prophetic.

[00:22:01] I grew up in the Pentecostal.

[00:22:03] I grew up in the charismatic.

[00:22:05] I grew up between the apostles and the prophets.

[00:22:09] I understand this dilemma.

[00:22:12] I understand how important it is,

[00:22:14] but I also have been grieved at so much misunderstanding

[00:22:19] of the apostolic and the prophetic.

[00:22:23] We have lifted up the prophets and the apostles

[00:22:26] and have lifted them to a pedestal that they shouldn't be on.

[00:22:30] We worship the prophetic.

[00:22:32] We worship the apostolic people.

[00:22:34] God is bringing us low in saying,

[00:22:37] no, these are servants of the Lord.

[00:22:40] They're messengers.

[00:22:42] They're ministers unto me,

[00:22:44] but the people have lifted them up and idolized them.

[00:22:47] Many are falling because the higher you become in pride

[00:22:51] and arrogance in thinking that you know it all,

[00:22:54] the harder you're going to fall.

[00:22:57] This is not something we want you to say,

[00:23:00] but this is so important because we're seeing it happen all around us.

[00:23:05] We're seeing it happen like one after another,

[00:23:10] ministry after another that is under attack

[00:23:13] that is going down because they have resisted

[00:23:17] and God is pulling us back to the apostolic and the prophetic

[00:23:23] to bring alignment,

[00:23:25] to put us back on track

[00:23:28] because we became pastor-driven teacher-driven

[00:23:31] and we lost the understanding of the foundations

[00:23:36] that were laid, the apostles and the prophets.

[00:23:39] Jesus operated in all five gifts.

[00:23:43] That's why he gave the gifts.

[00:23:46] He was an apostle.

[00:23:48] He was a prophet.

[00:23:49] He was an evangelist.

[00:23:51] He was a teacher and he was a pastor.

[00:23:55] He knows how to operate in all of those functions.

[00:23:59] He is the example that we need.

[00:24:02] Many times churches believe they need to invite

[00:24:05] another prophet or apostle from another country to come

[00:24:10] and we think that they're qualified voices in their miss

[00:24:15] but I can tell you,

[00:24:16] God has placed voices among us

[00:24:19] as we find out,

[00:24:21] God has placed people around us

[00:24:23] that we kind of just don't pay attention to

[00:24:27] but God has speaking to them.

[00:24:29] God has an anointing upon them.

[00:24:32] They are not those kind who are merchandising

[00:24:35] the things of God.

[00:24:37] They fear the Lord too much to do that.

[00:24:40] We're coming to an end of this first part

[00:24:42] on the apostolic power.

[00:24:47] Understand the apostolic and the prophetic power

[00:24:51] and how it brings us back to the acts.

[00:24:55] So, it is so vital that we understand the importance

[00:24:59] of the prophetic and the apostolic in our day.

[00:25:03] If we don't, we're going to be deceived,

[00:25:06] we're going to be let astray

[00:25:08] as this great apostasy has begun.

[00:25:12] And we're seeing a fallen away like never before

[00:25:16] but we need to get back to the word.

[00:25:18] We need to be led by the spirit.

[00:25:21] The spirit must be in front of everything that we do.

[00:25:27] We must be led and moved by the Holy Spirit.

[00:25:33] Let's pray, Father God,

[00:25:34] I thank you for the opportunity to share

[00:25:36] on this apostolic power, Father.

[00:25:39] Lord, may we truly understand what it's for

[00:25:42] and what it's all about

[00:25:44] so that we are not deceived into believing everything

[00:25:48] that we hear but that we test the spirits

[00:25:51] to see that they are of God.

[00:25:54] Lord, you're raising up the Vio'ar

[00:25:56] to begin to bring this understanding back to the forefront

[00:26:01] and we're going to begin to dissect it.

[00:26:03] We're going to begin to dissector.

[00:26:05] We're going to begin to dissearn

[00:26:08] and we're going to begin to explore it.

[00:26:10] God, to be understanding, Lord.

[00:26:13] We give us the revelation and understanding of this Lord

[00:26:17] so that we can be prepared for when we know

[00:26:21] that this is coming about

[00:26:24] for you're bringing it back

[00:26:26] and Lord, the true apostles

[00:26:28] and the true prophets are coming into their place,

[00:26:33] their position,

[00:26:35] their calling, the ministry is back

[00:26:38] and in and calling them right now

[00:26:40] to take their rightful place in the kingdom.

[00:26:44] As the ministry gives begin to join together

[00:26:47] and work together, no more separation

[00:26:50] but working hand in hand

[00:26:52] with one another until the body of Christ

[00:26:55] comes into the maturity

[00:26:57] and the fullness in Christ.

[00:26:59] In the name of Jesus we pray
